To Mena
You will enter Mena on Hwy 71 from the north or south.
Hwy 71 runs straight from Ft. Smith to Mena to DeQueen.
Hwy 88 or Hwy 8 will bring you to Mena from the east or west. If you are
coming from Little Rock, go straight through Hot Springs to Pencil Bluff,
where you will turn left on Hwy 88 into Mena.
Coming from Texas, take interstate 30 to New Boston, TX where you will get
off on TX- 8N ramp to DeQueen, AR. 8N becomes AR-41. AR-41
becomes US-71/ US-59. You will go straight through DeQueen and into
Mena. All the motels are on Hwy 71. The distance from New Boston
to Mena is 92.90 miles.
Mena To Ansata
On Hwy 71, turn
at the light on Hwy 8 West (Reine Street).
Hwy 8 will make
a sharp left turn at the school, in Mena. Follow 8
West until you see the first Ansata sign on County Rd. 94. You will go approximately 11 miles on 8 West
to the first Ansata sign.
Turn right
at the sign. Go 9/10 of a mile to next
Ansata sign. Turn right and
continue on to the Ansata Show Barn on the right
side of the farm.
